We offer the quality of care your pet deserves

Hi, my name is Joanna and I am proud to run Kirby Bellars Pet Service a professional insured pet service based in Kirby Bellars, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. Offering Dog Training, Doggie Day Care, home boarding for dogs and small animals, home visits for cats, and a pet taxi service. So whether you need help for a few hours a day or a holiday home for the furry members of your family we can help.

I have been fascinated for many years with animal behaviour, which has lead me on a long but interesting road to why do our animals behave this way and can I improve their lives? With the recent times of our own lockdowns, one thing is very clear WE ALL NEED OUR FREEDOM AND THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE. Our pet's freedom has become more and more restricted so I feel it has become our duty to provide an enriching environment based on their individuals needs giving them a chance to exercise their innate instincts.

Dog Training

Dog training is in small classes or 121's teaching fun exercises for quality of life whilst improving the bond between you and your dog. I use only modern science-based training which is acustomise to suit each dog's character and needs, so the dog has confidence in making the correct choices and looks to it's owner for guidance.

Doggie Day Care

Doggie Day Care offers a safe, secure, and enriching environment designed to provide your dog with stimulating choices, keeping your dog mentally and physically active. Whilst providing opportunities for quiet downtime when needed. As we only take on 6 dogs per day it enables up to pay special attention to each dog's needs.

Dogs that are with us for home boarding stay with us in our home and are treated as one of the family, they are also able to attend Doggie Day Care.

Small Pet Boarding

We take great pride in our Rabbit, guinea pig, ferret, chicken, tortoises, and small pet boarding. Our holiday homes are spacious, clean, and safe. Dogs and ferrets are well separated from the smaller animals.
